Privacy Policy

Effective October 21, 2026

In short: Requrb doesn't collect, store or share any of your personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. What you enter stays on your iPhone and, if you use iCloud, in your private iCloud storage, which only you can access.

This policy explains how the Requrb app for iPhone (including its widgets and share extension) and the website requrb.com handle information. "We" means the developer of Requrb, shown as the seller on the App Store.

Information you enter in the app

To track your subscriptions, you may enter or add:

  • subscription details: names, prices, currencies, billing cycles, dates, trials, notes, websites, cancellation links, categories and logos;
  • payment method labels you create, such as "Personal Visa" and optionally the card's last four digits (never full card numbers);
  • the people you share a plan with: the name you type or the name of a contact you choose, and how the cost is split;
  • your answers to monthly usage check-ins, and your settings.

This information is stored only on your device. If you're signed into iCloud, it is also synced through your private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit) to your other devices using the same Apple Account. That database belongs to your Apple Account: we cannot see, access or export it. Apple's handling of iCloud data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.

Photos, camera and contacts

  • Photos and screenshots are read only when you choose them in Snap to add, the share sheet or the paste button. Text is recognised on your device; the images are not uploaded or kept, except a picture you choose as a subscription's logo.
  • Camera access is requested only when you scan a receipt, and the photo is processed on your device in the same way.
  • Contacts: when you pick someone for a shared plan, iOS gives Requrb only that one contact. Requrb keeps their name and an on-device reference to the contact. It never reads your address book.

Processing on your device

Text recognition and, on supported iPhones, Apple Intelligence suggestions (a category and website for a subscription, and reading receipts) run entirely on your device. Reminders, Trial Guard alerts and check-in prompts are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone; no push notification server is involved.

Network requests the app makes

Requrb works offline, but connects to the internet for these features. None of these requests contains your personal data or identifies you, and we don't receive or log them. As with any internet request, the server you connect to sees your IP address and handles it under its own privacy policy.

What we don't do

  • No account or sign-in, and no servers of our own that receive app data.
  • No analytics, crash reporting or advertising SDKs, and no third-party code that collects data.
  • No tracking across apps or websites, no data brokers, and no sale or sharing of data.

Purchases are processed by Apple; we receive only aggregated, anonymous sales reports from Apple. If you share crash reports or app analytics with developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple provides them to us anonymously under Apple's terms.

The requrb.com website

The website uses no cookies, analytics, trackers, scripts or third-party content. Our web server keeps a short access log for security and troubleshooting — the date and time, the page requested, your browser type and a shortened IP address with the last part removed. These logs are deleted after 14 days.

If you email us, we use your message and email address only to answer you and delete the conversation when it's no longer needed.

Your choices and rights

Because we don't hold your data, you are in full control of it. You can edit or delete anything in the app; deleting the app removes the data on your iPhone; and you can delete the iCloud copy in Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Account Storage › Requrb. You can also turn off iCloud for Requrb, and allow or deny photo, camera and notification access at any time in Settings. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access or delete personal data; as we hold none, there is nothing for us to provide or delete, but you're welcome to contact us with any question.

Children

Requrb isn't directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how Requrb handles information, we'll update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect, and describe significant changes in the app's release notes.
